First look at Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter

Well, that Hatter is just effed up, but what's up with Alice? In the books, she's a little <English accent> guhl <English accent>, but in those photos, she has the beginnings of breasteses. WTF?

What, Petty wasn't available? :(

We're not seeing the character as he is meant to be lit on screen by the Director and Cinematographer, until I see a still from the film itself I am withholding my judgment. Maybe he looks weird because they have a specific lightning plan that requires some unusual make-up or they have a post-processing technique in mind, who knows?

The actress that is playing Alice is 18. It would be weird if she didn't have breasts!

I think they are going with an older actress to get past those pesky underaged actor/actress work laws that limit how long an actor can work on set a day which saves a bunch of money and keeps the budget down.

If this is supposed to be a nightmarish version of Alice in Wonderland like that Return to Oz sequel, then I will just have to take a pass.

It's too Burtonesque than the original novel and the faithful Disney animated film for my tastes.

Anyone ever play American McGee's "Alice", that PC game from a decade or so ago? Average game, stellar concepts and artwork.
