First Contact Remastered , what changes could be made ?

Robot Santa said:
No changes. The effects stand up just fine, and there's no reason to cut any material of the actors or to change any of the music.

Absolutely Right(TM).

The Borg battle is a throwaway - it's not what the movie is about, and it accomplishes what's needed to move the story forward. I mean, ten ships blow up instead of five? Who gives a flying f---?

I was glad that the Flying Norelco Razor got its butt errr, collectively handed to it. :)

"Flying Norelco Razor?"

Okay, maybe a Braun Razor vice a Norelco. Seriously -- that was what I thought of every time the Defiant flew across the screen...

Sorry -- just could and still can't see the love for that ship design. To each his/her own, of course!

Cheers,

P/S And I won't comment on the U.S.S Marital Aid that Biggles mentioned... :guffaw:

The moment where the big-E swoops in behind the Defiant... some say the size is off, but chalk it up to perspective. The Defiant is very close to the camera and slightly out of focus. The way the big-e comes on screen, she just about grazes the defiant's shields. It's a wonderful moment, IMO. (as if seeing the new Enterprise 5 minute pervious, we get to see the Defiant kick some Borg butt on the big screen :)
