If only. I wonder how he'd get on with Joss Wedon?
Regeneration of course, is how it came back.
But after 16 or so years off the air, the people who loved the show were in the positions to say lets bring it back. i.e they were TBTB.
That picture is great.
He'd spoil it.
Stop him writing for it and you can have my vote...
I can't see these two getting along very well. Russell T. Davies is a very enthusiastic, manic, kid-in-a-candy-shop by the way of P.T. Barnum kind of character, while Joss Whedon is a snarky, dry-witted, hyperactive gifted kid geek mastermind.
Jayne: "Here, Mal. Who exactly is this here Jack fella we picked up last planetfall, and why's he keep saying hello to me?"
[LEFT]ROFL! I have the scene in my mind.
The notion of Jack and Jayne interacting is possibly even funnier than the idea of Jack and River...(Song that is, not Tamm!)
Amy meets Inara.
I'll be in mah bunk...
IIRC the two have since met, got along very well, have expressed nothing but admiration for the other's work, and, have both expressed the desire to collaborate together on something should the right project come along.
Hmpfh. My version was more fun.
Well, if you gonna sink so low as to bring in facts, I don't think there's any point in bothering to debate with you
Nah, Amy meets Kaylee, that's more like it...
I suppose if Firefly had run for 25 years someone might have considered 15 years later to bring it back on air.
Though what would Matt Smith know about bringing it back anyway he should be talking to Eccleston or Tennant at least.
In all seriousness though it's always cool to see two icons together.
I didn't know they met, but the two are definitely fans of each other. Whedon even had two background extras in one of his comics who resemble the Tenth Doctor and Rose standing by a phone booth.
I would cry. Nu Doctor Who is one of the worst shows I've ever seen.
I suppose if Russel T Davies did Firefly every episode would end in a deus ex machina.
And I would rejoice. As Nu Doctor Who is one of the best shows I've ever seen, and it just keeps getting better and better.
I would be thrilled.
IF!!! it's either recast or waits till Castle is done.
I know what my priorities are.
if Firefly was still going, and RTDs was still doing Doctor Who, a producer swap episode could have been fun.
