I can't see these two getting along very well. Russell T. Davies is a very enthusiastic, manic, kid-in-a-candy-shop by the way of P.T. Barnum kind of character, while Joss Whedon is a snarky, dry-witted, hyperactive gifted kid geek mastermind. If only. I wonder how he'd get on with Joss Wedon?

Doctor Who's Russell T Davies greatly influenced by BtVS. Creator Russell gladly acknowledges that Whedon's sharp, playful, but also dramatically-deep writing style had great influence on him with regards to Dr. Who.
“[Buffy the Vampire Slayer] showed the whole world, and an entire sprawling industry, that writing monsters and demons and end-of-the world isn’t hack-work, it can challenge the best. Joss Whedon raised the bar for every writer—not just genre/niche writers, but every single one of us.”
Hmpfh. My version was more fun.IIRC the two have since met, got along very well, have expressed nothing but admiration for the other's work, and, have both expressed the desire to collaborate together on something should the right project come along.
Well, if you gonna sink so low as to bring in facts, I don't think there's any point in bothering to debate with youI can't see these two getting along very well. Russell T. if Firefly was still going, and RTDs was still doing Doctor Who, a producer swap episode could have been fun.And I would rejoice. As Nu Doctor Who is one of the best shows I've ever seen, and it just keeps getting better and better.
