I started a map. Just a beginning of the end result that probably would be quite different.

Actually has a very 50's-60's vibe to it...

Could be used in an animated show.

I really like the colours you've used in the frames, and that they're sequential with the brackets highlighting something that's expanded in the next frame. I'd considered doing similar sequential style maps (and still might, if I find time).
I wonder what's in that final bracket? A lost city? Ancient crashed spaceship? A lake of latinum?!?

Thanks. I've been working on this a bit. A bit of an effort but it's fun coming up with an alien alphabet.

These could be the basis of good mission and ship patch designs. That's what they remind me. Overlay UESPA on one of those or NASA. Agree on the throwback design. Good stuff.

Yeah. I'm still playing around. I have a situation with a flooding in my apartment, but I'll try to make time to make a final version.

I must admit, I prefer the first one as a computer display. This one, with its gold frames and unaligned edges looks more like a set of hanging pictures (which I rather like, especially the stylised little solar system map )

Here's my first attempt at a futuristic vision of a LGBTQ community so far into the future...

Oh, good! You changed the stars to Federation-style four pointed ones. And is that a unicorn in the middle?

And I'm sure the starbase's number has no sexual connotations at all...

Yes.. I struggled to find a larger version of an unicorn that one might fond on a nobility crest or coat of arms, that came with transparent background.
