Since Tobias Richter was kind enough to let me copy his latest image :), I thought I would show you guys what I came up with.

So, what do ya'll think? :) I'll try not to leave so much time between images from now on. :)

Heh, well having a smooth, off-white hull certainly helps. The AU Connie does have some good things about her.

And I wouldn't fret about taking time off from artwork. I know how every once in a while, you have to take some time off from doing artwork...so that you can return to it with a sharper mind, and fuller of ideas.

Thanks guys, I'm glad everyone likes it. :)

I can't wait to hear some descriptions of stuff we might see in the next movie, so I can start making some "What If" images. :)

Anybody want to throw in some speculations? Maybe we can influence some of the guys up top. :)

Doable, but I'd have to build a model of the TMP E first. :) I'm not crazy about the Blender version of Dennis' model that's floating around out there. :)

I like the nuEnterprise.....but the closeness of the nacelles grates on me. I wish they'd push them closer to their original distance. Otherwise, nice take on the Enterprise.

I sympathize with you there. I personally find the way that the nacelles start to fold up close to one another to be an interesting design element, though I think it should have been saved for a completely new ship, as a tribute to the original Enterprise.

I like it! It will be my latest wallpaper... perfectly proportioned for my 1600x900 resolution monitor.

I agree that the nacelles would probably look better is they were spaced farther apart, but what do you mean about them starting to fold up? :)

Awesome. :) I got some new monitors as well... so 1920x1980 will be what I'm putting out from now on. :)

I mean how the pair is closer to one another, compared to the original. Because of the curved angle of the pylons, they almost look like they are starting to fold up a little.

Ah, I've got you. :)

There were rumors early on, that Enterprise was actually going to have "vectoring" nacelles... that was making me nervous, and I'm glad they didn't go that way, in the end. :)
