I don't know they all assemble for this mission, but come on...they *all* HAVE to appear sometime, and it would be the ultimate fan service to see the crew together again one more time.

Tactical: "Ship has been disabled."

Worf: "Yoooou... are a coward. You will die for this insolence!"

First Officer: "Security - stun the captain."

Worf: "Pat'ta ... aargghhh!"

First Officer: "Set him up in his usual spot on holodeck 4 and run the combat program when he wakes up." *Sigh*

Picards mind gets uploaded to the android body by Agnes after being injured, however he dies just before the process is complete. We have to wait till S2 to find out if enough of Picard was transferred for it to actually be a replacement for Picard.

And in S2 premiere we'll find out that Picard's consciousness has been transferred to the EMH Doctor, so we'll have Robert Picardo playing 'Picard' at least during S2.

What people here don't seem to understand is that the people in charge of Star Trek don't really care about the Enterprise-E. It was a ship designed for one pretty good movie and two shitty movies. The real ship they care about is the Enterprise-D. There was seven whole years of its adventures on TV, and the nostalgia for it is far greater than the E (TATV, dream sequence in PIC, etc.)

Of course, we're not going to see the Enterprise-D in PIC, other than in said dream sequence, and the hologram in Starfleet Headquarters. So, logically, if they can't show the D, they're not going to show any Enterprise at all. But we'll see in four days.

It will be the Enterprise E with a third nacelle, no, FOUR nacelles, and they've added a second battle section that detaches and shoots spreads of 42 torpedoes from each of its 19 launchers, and it will be captained by Admiral Beverly Crusher, and the helmsman is the long-lost son of Picard and Vash that she never told him about until just now. And Geordi is there too, and he's way more chill because he finally lost his virginity a couple days ago. And then Captain Kirk bursts out of that pile of rocks on Viridian III after having his body restored by the energies of the Nexus because it was close enough, why not, and he rounds up Bones and Scotty and the Spock from the Kelvin timeline, and they get this old original Constitution class ship out of Spacedock and re-name it USS Enterprise NCC-1701-69, and they show up at just the right time in the battle and kick the shit out of a Borg cube and then they all laugh and have a Romulan ale. The end

I don't find her uncomfortable to watch, but I do find her smile really infectious. YMMV.

Also, the character's name is "Coulson". Just saying.

TNG theme swells, camera pans up, goes into warp speed...THEN an overlay "800 years later"...Burnham stands up and dusts herself off. "Where....when the hell am I?"

Raffi's son shows up to make amends and then gets hit by a romulan phaser. Raffi reveals she's a Douwd race alien the entire time and in an instant she destroys all the romulans and synthetics. Then she turns into an energy being and walks off into the sunset

I would love that ending with the conspiracy exposed/defeated and season 2 being set with Picard on the ENT-E with Worf/Crusher/etc but I know that's not going to happen.
