Contrary to popular belief, a coat of arms is not what you have left when you've turned all of your jackets into vests! 137th Gebirg knew this when he challenged the forum to create a coat of arms in the Trek milieau, so now it's time to give a hand to each of our four arms :D (sorry, that was bad on so many levels - good thing we don't have 4 wrists!), and ultimately to vote for your favorite coat of arms. Fitting, don't you think?

As always, you have 2 days to vote, after which our winner will suit up and create the challenge for June (and it's not to fix Ward's dinner, believe me! Although that guy was a challenge!)

So, huzzah and vote! Grant one of our contestants the right to bear arms!

No it wasn't. I chose Klaus because the idea for the Bynars was so cool and turned out amazing. But the others were too close.

Congrats Mr. Smith!!

...and thanks for the votes, didn't think I'd do anywhere near that well! :D

Congratulations and tipping o' the hat to Winston Smith - well met! Competition was certainly stiff on this one and I think all who participated did great honor to the challenge. Thank you for that. I honestly didn't know how well received the idea would be when I came up with it.

Just as well, too - I was at a lack of ideas for another challenge if I did actually win. :)

Congratulations, Winston Smith! Looking forward to your June challenge :).

Great work on all the entries - it was hard to decide, which is definitely a good thing ;). The variety of approaches was as interesting as the finished works themselves.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate it, particularly considering the calibre of the other entries this month :)

I'm a bit swamped with school at the moment, but I'll try and have the next challenge thread up later today!
