Films are always about the same guys

IIRC, Voyager's "Endgame" was the most watched Trek episode on Netflix a few years ago. I'm sure the streaming numbers contribute to Seven, Janeway and others being in the modern shows.
Watching a TV show in the comfort of your house is a lot different to dragging oneself to pay high prices for a ticket and greasy food. IME a lot of movies I see advertised my response is I'll wait to watch it on tv. I bet Millennials hardly go to the cinema, will the medium even last the next 2 generations?

One thing that fascinates me with the younger generation is that they have a greater and greater interest in what is considered older mediums. My daughters love record players, songs from the 50s, 60s and 80s, as well as other vintage tech. It's an interesting thing to see.

Everyone's always been predicting the death of movie theatres. "This new television thing? No one will go to the theatres when they can just watch movies at home." "The video cassette allows people to watch movies at home any time they like? Why bother with the theatres anymore?" "DVDs give you the movie and a bunch of extra material like deleted scenes and interviews with the actors and director. Theatres are so pedestrian by comparison."

Streaming is just the newest version of home entertainment everyone believes will supplant the movie theatres but probably won't. Granted, streaming has had a better boost than the other formats since in recent years we had a pandemic which more or less shut down movie theatres for a couple of years. But movie theatres will survive and people will continue to go for as long as movies continue to be a thing.

And I say this as someone who is growing tired of the theatres and am developing a growing desire to watch movies at home more and more often these days.
