I found it absolutely hilarious that the cat's name, Koshka, means "Kitty" in Russian![]()
Koshka means cat. The diminutive form, koshachka (not sure if I transliterated it correctly), would be closer to kitty.
If we're really pedantic about it, "koshka" means a female cat, because "kot" means "cat"
The Russians, for some reason, prefer the female form as default for animals. The same goes for dogs![]()
