Feline Follies

That's really great news. I'd love to see more pictures of her whenever you have any!

Also I heard a noise and went to go see what the cat was doing. I couldn't find him at first. I keep forgetting that with a cat, you have to look up.

^My cats don't do that as often as they used to but every once in a while I'll hear them jump up.

I love images of cats on doors :bolian:

None of the cats I've been around have ever done that! -But here's one who likes being up there, even if it's not on a door:

^:bolian:

But how do they get up there - claw their way on the wall-paper? climb something hanging on the doors?

I mean, I put up cat-stairs and a couple of claw-boards for her... and the only other thing she climbs (to my knowledge) is the neighbours tree:

Wow, this series of photos makes me think that Hubby and I will have to continue adopting cats with some form of disability...I'm not sure that we would be at all prepared for normal cat behavior anymore!

also, B.J. I am thrilled to hear that Banshee is showing improvement!

As I put Diaper Kitty into her cage this morning, she went over to the litter pan, squatted, and one little drop of piddle (?) came out on command! Kinda weird to be happy about something like that, but it seems there's hope!

Not weird at all, says the human who had similar issues for months after spine surgery. :alienblush: Yay, Kitty!

So glad to hear she continues to recover!

Nothing as inducing of warm feelings as a curled-up cat or two sleeping kitties! :techman:

They're both very pretty. ;)

Gah! What do I do now??? I come home today and this hugely affectionate kitty attacks my legs. I pet it a few times and open the door, she (he?) proceeds right in and with barely looking around does this:

Out like a light.

It's cold out tonight, (for Florida). I can't just throw him/her out!!!

ETA: more Daaww-ness:

You should probably at least put out "Found" posters in your area in case that is someone's pet. There's likely to be a very upset family somewhere out there.

But if no one can show it's their cat, then congratulations...you have been adopted.

Yeah, check with neighbors, put up signs, maybe something on CL in the lost and found section, call the local animal shelter and have it scanned for a microchip at the vet. That's what I did before rehoming the stray kitty that I found.

Yeah, conditions prevent me from keeping in any case.I'm hoping once it's had it's fill of sleep it'll want out to return to where ever it came from.

Stray cats are a weird thing. They basically run rampant in my town, so if I were ever to see a random cat outside, it would never occur to me that it might belong to someone. They just do their own thing, and we leave them be.

Of course, none of them ever try to come inside my house either. That would probably throw me off.
