So my wife took Wednesday to the vet yesterday to start everything up. Vaccinations, deworming, chipping, fixing, etc.

The doctor came in and told her they weren't going to proceed with the vaccinations. Wednesday has Feline Leukemia. She's never been around other cats since we got her, so she must have gotten it from her mother.

My wife and I are absolutely gutted. Waiting to find out what type she has, but if her immune response was going to take care of it, the doctor said she would have done so by now.

I never would have imagined myself loving a dumb fuzzball as much as I love this cat. I am crushed at the possibility of her dying at 2 or 3 instead of 15-16. 85% of infected cats die before 3.

I'm so sorry Digits. I hope you get as much quality time with her as possible.

I am so sorry baby. I had a cat, Annie, with that. She was a crazy little thing and I adored her. *HUGS*

My sincerest condolences. I love my cat so much; I don't know how I'll cope on the day he passes.
