He doesn't know if the water in his bowl is fresh. But water out of the tap? That's fresh! The other night, I filled the cats' water bowl while talking to my wife ("What's for dinner?"). Sherlock walked over and started drinking. When I walked towards my computer room, he ran to the restroom door, pried it open, and jumped up on the sink to beg for water. He loves to drink out of a running faucet. Goof cat, I just gave him fresh water. I thought he had his fill. But nooooo, he had to have a taste straight out of the spigot.

She's just spoiled. The other night, I filled the cats' water bowl while talking to my wife ("What's for dinner?"). Sherlock walked over and started drinking. They say ships were coming from those parts into America carrying Norwegian Forest cats and Siberian cats.
Once they arrived in North America they mixed with some local cats and the Maine Coon appeared as a result....
