As long as we're on the subject, I adore Siamese cats. But I prefer the traditional "applehead" Siamese on the left, not the freakish thing on the right. That doesn't even look like a cat -- it looks like something from outer space.

I almost looks like the one on the right is a cross w/ a meercat.

I'm always bothered when people think they have the right to breed animals for pointless traits. Yes, Munchkin cats are cute but, yes, they are also not completely healthy either.

Many "purebred" dogs are also very unhealthy as well. Not even close to what they were 100 years back, and sickly in general...

I've seen some pictures comparing dogs of the same breed from decades ago to ones today, and it is kind scary just how different they look. A lot of them don't even look like the same breed.

I need kitties. Two young kitties. I just want to find a place that's not going to ask intrusive questions. I get why they do it, I'm just not comfortable with it. There are people out there who are awful to animals, I'm not one of them, and I get they have no way to know that. But I still don't like them calling my friends about me to see if I won't hurt my kitties.

Yeah, some places do go a bit to far with their questions.
