How's the poor thing supposed to jump up onto the bed to be with his people at night?

Frankly, I don't think the intentional breeding of those so-called "munchkin" cats ought to be permitted. I'm sorry, but that's a deformed animal.

I'm always bothered when people think they have the right to breed animals for pointless traits. Yes, Munchkin cats are cute but, yes, they are also not completely healthy either.
Many "purebred" dogs are also very unhealthy as well. Not even close to what they were 100 years back, and sickly in general...

For the glory of AKC, they certainly have no qualms about inbreeding dogs to the point of genetic disorders.
That cat just looks more like a Siamese/Sphynx crossbreed from the pic. Or else they tarred & furred a Sphynx......or maybe airbrushed him. A crossbreed should actually be more genetic variation than stagnation in this case.

As long as we're on the subject, I adore Siamese cats. But I prefer the traditional "applehead" Siamese on the left, not the freakish thing on the right. That doesn't even look like a cat -- it looks like something from outer space.
The one on the right looks like it had Devon Rex in there (the coat, slender body, big ears).
I need kitties. Two young kitties. I just want to find a place that's not going to ask intrusive questions. I get why they do it, I'm just not comfortable with it. There are people out there who are awful to animals, I'm not one of them, and I get they have no way to know that. But I still don't like them calling my friends about me to see if I won't hurt my kitties.
