a friend took her ginger kitten to the vets for a vaccination shot.

Not sure what it was it but he decided to start racing a round like a mad thing while her older tuxedo cat just sat there and looked bemused.

A little boy, Billy, went to spend the weekend at his grandparent's farm. Grandpa woke him up at dawn on Saturday morning to help with the chores. He showed Billy how to spread feed for the chickens and gather the eggs, and how to slop the hogs. Before they went in for breakfast, grandpa used two large buckets to water the horses. After they were done eating, Billy went to the cabinet and took out a saucer. "What do you need that for?" his grandma asked. Billy smiled and announced, "I'm going to go milk the cats!"

I put fresh litter in the litter box and the cat responds by.... pooping on top of the litter box instead of inside it. But next time, he'll go into the litter box to use it no problem even though nothing is different. Anyone know what's going on? There are no other pets, so there'd be no reason for him to mark his turf. He just being lazy?

Does he poop anywhere else? Have you tried a different litter? Maybe he doesn't like the smell of the litter?

Who knows? Cats, man.

It's the only brand of litter he's had this whole time. He doesn't poop anywhere else inside the house (although if he's outside, he has no problem using the bark). And like I said, next time he'll use the litter box properly even though nothing is different.
