What'sa matter, the cat got your....no wait

Looks like a plotting face. Be careful
Unfortunately, I fear, his plotting days are coming to an end. He's been in declining health the past couple of months and has lost half his weight. He has been eating less and sleeping more (I know, cats sleep a lot already, but at almost 18 he's sleeps most of the time). So far, he doesn't appear to be in any major discomfort.

18! Wow, he's an old kitty. But that just means more time for him to bring joy and be loved. :bolian:

He was found sitting beside the road in northwest Illinois in early November by my ex's sister-in-law. She had passed him a couple of times, just sitting there in the rain. He was muddy, one eye caked shut, and a cut on his ear. Hence he was named Puzzle because he was found in pieces. I suspected early on that he was deaf. He was pushed on to us, this little ball of fur. We thought he was an older kitten, but when we took him to the vet, was told he was an adult as he had all his adult teeth. Within one month, he quickly grew from 5 lbs to 10 lbs.

He's always been fairly sociable and friendly, although not wanting to be held, he would get in your lap and often settle in there.
