Feline Follies

this is smart.. the kid knew...--

The video displayed is actually about unorthodox puppetry as demonstrated by Barnaby Dixon (whom I discovered via Adam Savage and his "Tested" channel), but he takes a moment at the 5 minute 18 second mark to do something I suspect most cats would hate.

He blows a ripe, wet "raspberry" upon Matilda's shaved tummy!

And she just hangs there limp and seemingly relaxed as though experiencing a massage!

Barnaby is insanely talented in several creative endeavors and his skills got him a gig on the Netflix "Dark Crystal" series! Upon first seeing his efforts maybe a year ago I thought he would have made a welcome addition to the Henson Creature Shop. Then...what do you know...

Anyway, a "juicy" raspberry upon an nonchalant cat. :guffaw:

:guffaw:She Certainly looks unconcerned about it! If her tummy is shaved she may have recently been operated upon- perhaps she is still on some kind of drugs to keep her calm to help along a recovery.

So, this morning, one of our cats was in the living room window making chittering noises, only louder and with some other weird noises mixed in. One of the other cats was going back and forth between dinning room and living room windows looking completely freaked out. I went over and peeked out to see what the heck had them so agitated. I figured our neighborhood cardinal was back. He loves to sit on the window sill and tap the glass just to torment the cats. But nope, it wasn't him. Yes, it was a bird. There was a owl sitting in the maple tree next door. And not a tiny barn owl, either. This guy was big; not something I want my cats playing with.
