Cats going crazy in the near of cucumbers....

That seems to be a "thing", but why, WHY do so many cats freak upon seeing cucumbers?! It's like someone finding those freaky "pods" in "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"!

Someone heard that a cat reacted this way to an unexpected cucumber so people ran with it. The fact is that any object that a cat is not expecting behind them would spook them. I see it all the time in my house.

That's my reaction to cucumbers. Maybe I'm part cat.

Am deeply disappointed the German(?) word for cucumbers is gurke. I’d expect no fewer than 47 syllables for a 3 syllable word in English.

I feel a bit sorry for the cats with cucumber phobia. I have a friend who is terrified of frogs and I want to joke about it but she really is freaked by them!

Dammit, Milo (our cat) now digs through the trash to find my empty beer cans, pulls them out to drink the leavings!
He never gets enough to make him drunk, so I'm guessing he likes the flavor of the beer...but he never puts them back..and our kitchen often looks like the aftermath of a drunken Frat party...gonna have to put a lid on the recycling bin under the sink..
