Glasgow also knows up, down, high five, low five, and not to step on computers. Regarding the latter, he spends at least an hour a day awkwardly stepping over my keyboard, back and forth, while I'm trying to work.

Two of my cats answer to multiple names. Kaylee answers to Kaylee, Beautiful, and Kitten. Willow answers to Willow and Cutie. Well, Sophie does answer to Sophie and So-So, but only on her terms.

Yeah, Glasgow also answers to Buggy (which came from Snuggle Bug). My mom is the queen of nicknames -- all her pets, and children, have dozens.

Yeah my brother-in-law, his wife and two kiddlies have just left and they own big acreage in New South Wales. My brother-in-law was lamenting that his son doesn't like guns and shooting critters and he blames my Mother-in-law who lives with them. I just made a comment that it's a good thing Aunty Tracey (moi) doesn't live there because I would be on the no gun side. Then I got this reminder about the drought and how kangaroos (thirsty) have taken over somewhat and they need to be shot. Your mind tells you there is a logic but I HATE it. Poisoning cats sounds so wrong to me.

I love cats. Cats are cool. I love wild cats, like puma and bobcats.
But feral ex-house cats are evil incarnate. They are hell-spawn demons. The only thing worse are packs of feral dogs.
The problem now for Australia is there are too many of them. They should have been taken care of decades ago.
Problem is - there are like 6 million feral cats in Oz. It really sucks that they are going to try what they intend but, you can't really keep them from reproducing when there are so many.
