I've often wondered if my cat might be a changeling. When she wants to hide it's very difficult to find her.

On the subject of cat food, a friend posted on facebook about wiskas being on special. It was first thing in the morning, didn't have my glasses on and jumped it the middle of the post and wonder why she was buying pouches of whiskey for the cat.
Friend responded that she might consider whisky if it would stop the cat for pestering for food all the time

The spare can of cat food I try to keep with me just incase, got some use. A fluffy homeless orange cat was wandering around a grocery store parking lot. I called it, it stop and looked at me, but didn't come, so I closed my door. Once shut, the cat dashed over and sat patiently like a house cat does, about a dozen feet away. I put out the cat food. Half an hour later, all gone.
Always keep a spare can in the car -- never know when it'll come in handy.
