Trailers are often deliberately misleading, but I will stick to my prediction that at least three of Morgan's group will die in this season.
Its TWD franchise, so tragedy is baked into it--at least TWD and FTWD. I could see Dorie, Grace and possibly Strand being killed off, with the latter trying to atone for his see-saw loyalties.
I'd hate to see them kill Dorie, since he's one of my favorite characters, but I could see Strand or Grace dying. Sacrificing himself would be a good way for Strand to prove his loyalty to the group, and I could see Grace dying as a way to get to Morgan. Its TWD franchise, so tragedy is baked into it--at least TWD and FTWD. With COlman DOmingo's star seeming to rise (having had a chance to direct as well as the role in Ma Rainey), i wonder if more professional opportunities are opening up for him. While it would be a great loss if he left, if THAT is the reason he is going (like CLiff Curtis did when Avatar sequels came up), I would be happy for him. And it would be a fitting character arc for him to start as a manipulative self-serving con-man to sacrifice himself to end Virginia's reign.
1) That at LEAST Daniel OR Alicia are safe... i would hope they don't get rid of ALL the original season 1 cast.
2) Luciana is a character they haven't written very well. If they HAD to kill someone, she might be a likely character.
3) COuld Charlie be on the chopping block?. The actress is 14 now, and COvid hasn't helped her time frame... Though i wonder if Season 7 will also have another time jump, hopefully to get them closer to World/Rick Movie timeline?
4) What happened to Wes, Wendell and Sarah? We have seen little of them so far. They too could be people,at this point, who could be easily sacrificed.
5) Will Dwight lose Sherry too? If so, it would be dramatic for sure -- his long journey back to her ends in tragedy. Or his story arc could be completed (not sure if they intended him to be another ratings booster like Morgan)?
Looking forward to it. I think I like the Fear cast more than I do the original Walking Dead's current cast.

Ain't happening.Just have Garrett Dillahunt's John Dorie and Morgan go on from town to town, from week to week (maybe a mini-arc) having adventures?
Yeah I realize that and I guess I expect too much out of The Walking Dead. It'd be a shame to have at least ONE of the series actually be funAin't happening.
Oh, no, I meant the current cast on the original The Walking Dead.I feel the same way. I recently re-watched the first four seasons of FTWD, and, aside from Alicia, Strand and Daniel, I really didn't like any of the other characters.
Nick was a waste and, realistically, would have died at the beginning of the outbreak; and Madison, by the end of third season, had used up all of her goodwill.
Knowing now what the showrunners had planned for her and her war against the Proctors in the fourth season goes somewhat towards mitigating the damage done by her presence and actions at the Ranch in the third season.
The current cast, aside from Al and her constant trying to get people to tell her their story, I think is stronger.
