“The Boxer” is just epic, what a wonderful song. Lai la lai!
Agreed, it's a great song. Just one little nitpick:

Asking only workman's wages
I come looking for a job
But I get no offers
Just a come-on from the whores on Seventh Avenue.
I do declare
There were times when I was so lonesome
I took some comfort there . . .

So, if he had no job, how did he pay them?

Of the songs listed, “The Boxer” is my favorite. ”I Am A Rock” should have been on this list, though.
Years after he wrote them, Paul Simon said “I Am a Rock,” and some of his other early songs like “Dangling Conversations,” were far from his best work. He considered them to be “freshman poetry.”

The poll should have had choices for both the electric and the acoustic version of "The Sound of Silence".

At the moment it's Mrs Robinson, but it'll keep changing.. Bridge Over Troubled Water I don't really like though, it's a bit pompous.

I chose Bridge, but my favourite song from either of them, together or separately, is Garfunkel's Bright Eyes. So haunting and beautiful.

I took Scarborough Fair but the 59th Street Bridge song and Richard Corey are two of my favs. And The Boxer. Really, I'm just happy to listen to their music. Any of it.
