Favourite DS9 story arc

Bashir's arc was great, from a wet behind the ears, skirt-chasing Starfleet Medical grad to a more mature, more patient with others experienced doctor. If only they hadn't followed it with the enhancements bit. There are good stories that could be written about being enhanced, but just letting him stay in Starfleet and go easy on displaying those abilities doesn't them. It's like telling a gay person to pass by not showing any same-sex attraction and going along with the sexist jokes that are being told around them.

Except they never said anything about going easy on displaying his abilities (unless you count not trying to conquer Earth), and his status is common knowledge; to the point a mental health facility arranged to send other enhanced people to meet with him.

I don't know about common knowledge. Certainly, those on the station know, plus some admirals and certainly Starfleet Medical heads.

That facility for the Jack Pack was specifically designed for those people. Whether Bashir reached out to them after reading some diagnoses or the facility contacted him first, I don't think is ever made clear.

Voted for "Past Tense" and "other". Past Tense is an excellent 2-parter, though I'm not sure it's an "arc" by itself.

"Other" for the late Cardassian arc. Finished a DS9 rewatch lately, and I was reminded how much I liked the Cardassian rebellion part of the ending arc.
(and how much I hate the dumb, manichean and propagandistic prophet/pagh-wraith/emissary/Winn/Dukat/firecaves/Bajoran religion part)

I don't know if it's a story arc, but I love Sisko's relationship with Jake more than anything else. As a dad I find it is done very well and Avery Brooks does a great job showing Sisko's love for his son. I love all the arcs listed above but I keep coming back to this as my favorite part of DS9.
