Favorite Things About Enterprise

What three-parter are you talking about? And how were any Vulcans other than T'pol off base? They explained that T'pol was more emotoinal due to the stress of how the humans treat her, and due to her drug problem. But I don't know what you're referring to with the Vulcans as a whole being off base.

Didn't they have some whole arc about a Vulcan guy trying to get the other Vulcans to see that they'd lost touch with the teachings of Surok, and the Enterprise crew having to find a young T'Pau?

I think, he means "The Forge"/"Awakening"/"Kir Shara".

OK. That certainly was a good arc. What was off-base about the Vulcans? They seemed like the same ol' Vulcans to me, but with more interesting clothes, and a lot of doubt about humans. And how in your opinion did the arc get the Vulcans on-base again?

I enjoyed seeing the crew actually work and have to undertake manual processes (the lack of a transporter convenience as one example early on). It was a refreshing shift in pace from the seven years of Voyager where the ship looked as clean and not lived in both in its first and final episodes despite every episode being in the middle of nowhere we scarce resources. There was rawness and mechanical feel to Star Trek with Enterprise which I really enjoyed.

The Season 3 War Arc was fantastic while I enjoyed seeing Trip and T'pol's development. I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed the sexier moments in this show.

Jeffrey Combs as Shran and the politics involving the Vulcans, Andorians and Humans.

Then the Xindi war episodes were fantastic.

It felt like Enterprise's own "Section 31" story with the time agency while I also liked The Suliban as the first nemesis.
