Post your favorite Spock quotes from The Original Series!
    I'll kick things off with:
"I am in control of my emotions!"

    Excited to see all these.

Worthy of Shakespeare, and even misquoting Stalin:

    the not-TLDR Trek version:

(Spock is on a biobed, being scanned.)
SPOCK: I assure you, Doctor, I am quite all right. The pain was momentary. It passed quickly.
MCCOY: All of my instruments seem to agree with you if I can trust these crazy Vulcan readings. Spock, how can you be so sure the lntrepid was destroyed?
    (Spock gets off the bed.)
    SPOCK: I sensed it die.
MCCOY: But I thought you had to be in physical contact with a subject before
SPOCK: Doctor, even I, a half-Vulcan, could hear the death scream of four hundred Vulcan minds crying out over the distance between us.
MCCOY: Not even a Vulcan could feel a starship die.
SPOCK: Call it a deep understanding of the way things happen to Vulcans, but I know not a person, not even the computers on board the Intrepid, knew what was killing them or would have understood it had they known.
    MCCOY: But four hundred Vulcans?
SPOCK: I've noticed that about your people, Doctor. You find it easier to understand the death of one than the death of a million. You speak about the objective hardness of the Vulcan heart, yet how little room there seems to be in yours.
MCCOY: Suffer the death of thy neighbour, eh, Spock? You wouldn't wish that on us, would you?
SPOCK: It might have rendered your history a bit less bloody.

and the TLDR Stalin version, which sounds like something Spock might say in another episode too (and arguably as a response to a McCoy jibe):

“a single death is a tragedy, a million deaths are a statistic”

This is my favorite Spock quote, from "A Piece of the Action."

As I kid, this quote exposed me for the first time to the word "sanguine," which is one of my favorite words to say.

Maybe cheating, but rather than a quotation, an exchange (especially the bold part):

KIRK: There's really something I don't understand about all of this. Maybe you can explain it to me. Logically, of course. When you jettisoned the fuel and ignited it, you knew there was virtually no chance of it being seen, yet you did it anyhow. That would seem to me to be an act of desperation.
    SPOCK: Quite correct, Captain.
KIRK: Now we all know, and I'm sure the doctor will agree with me, that desperation is a highly emotional state of mind. How does your well-known logic explain that?
SPOCK: Quite simply, Captain. I examined the problem from all angles, and it was plainly hopeless. Logic informed me that under the circumstances, the only possible action would have to be one of desperation. Logical decision, logically arrived at.
KIRK: I see. You mean you reasoned that it was time for an emotional outburst.
SPOCK: Well, I wouldn't put it in exactly those terms, Captain, but those are essentially the facts.

KIRK: You're not going to admit that for the first time in your life, you committed a purely human emotional act?
    SPOCK: No, sir.
KIRK: Mister Spock, you're a stubborn man.
    SPOCK: Yes, sir.

Two from "Mirror, Mirror" are among my favorites:

I shall not permit your aberrations to jeopardize my position.

I do not want to command the Enterprise, but if it should befall me, I suggest you remember that my operatives would avenge my death. And some of them ... are Vulcans.

Yes, yes, yes. That's such a great, underrated piece of dialogue. I love the way that Spock logically and methodically questions the computer about the security research. Explain it - who's conducting it - what's it about. Very cool.
