Favorite non-Trek characters played by Trek series regulars?

I guess the thread title sums up the question. Only thing I would like to add is you can't pic from guest stars or even semi reacurring actors who feel like regulars such as Dukat,Nog,Barcay etc. Only exception is Dr Pulaski who wasn't officially a regular but we know she was one. My favorites would be

William Shatner as himself in "Free Enterprise." I love that movie and he does a good job of making fun of himself but also showing a serious side as well.
Walter Koeing as Bester on "Babylon 5" He did a good job as a villian and it's I think his best acting he has ever done.
Patrick Stewart as Proffesor X in "X-Men" movies. If it wasn't for Wolverine I would say he was proably the heart and soul of the entire franchise and his ending in "Logan" is just as good as Wolverine's ending in that movie.
Patrick Stewart in "Blunt Talk" It was a really funny show that can make things like Stewart having a man servant who reads him bedtime stories so he can sleep seem perfectly natural.
Brent Spiner as the scientist in "Independence Day" I fun crazy science guy is always intresting and he did a good job of making him seem like someone out of touch with society.
Avery Brooks as the teacher in "American History X" It's kind of a small role but he strikes me as a teacher who might be able to break through racism and reach a racist who had that kind of thinking basically brainwashed into him.
Nana Vistor as the dying women on "Battlestar Galatica" Not much to say but she really felt like someone who was dying and they did a good job with makeup because she looked sickly in that episode.
Colm Meaney in the movie "The Van" I kind of have forgotten alot about the movie except that he was good in it. Same with "Layer Cake"
Colm Meaney as the dad in "Get Him to the Greek" It is wierd seeing Chief O'Brien doing drugs and being a kind of asshole but I liked it.
Odo actor as Clayton Endicott the third in "Benson" It played a great sitcom villian. SO much so that I still recall him even though I proably haven't seen the show in over 20 something years.
Armin Shirreman as the Principal in "Buffy the Vampire SLayer" A slimey unlikeable guy who is kind of Quark like when you think about it.
Nicole DeBoer in "Dead Zone" She played a woman who was sweet and kind and you could feel for her that she basically had 2 men she both loved.
Nicole DeBoer in "Cube" Nerd who is trapped in a torture trap. I like how she had to overcome her fear to try and survive.
Robert Picardo as Woosley on the "Stargate" shows. Went from a typical beaurcrat to a more well rounded version of that type of character.
Robert PIcardo as Coach Cutlip on "Wonder Years" Basically played the sterotype of that job with lots of fun.
Scott Bakula as Sam from "Quantum Leap" What can you say. A great human being in a great concept for a great show.
John Billinsley as a evil scientist on "Angel" who gets what he deserves and becomes a werewolf meal.
John Billinsley on "Stargate" who plays a nerd. "Stargate" was a very nerd friendly show and he was one of them. Got to play one who was out of his deep on a dangerous mission plus was a "Star trek" fan which of course had to be a nod to his role on "Enterprise."

Since Ro doesn't count (Admiral Cain would be obvious pick)...

Leonard Nimoy played one of the best Columbo villains.
Levar Burton as himself in Community.

I wouldn't compare the Principal from Buffy to Quark, but Armin Shimmerman played a good Nox in Stargate. The Principal was almost the opposite of Quark, believing in obedience and respect for authority as the highest moral directives.

Robert Picardo also played a doctor on "China Beach", a kind of a Vietnam-era MASH

Rene Auberjonois played a preacher who joins the militia in "The Patriot", probably the first role he did after leaving DS9

Didn't know about that one, but it did remind me of his previous military preacher role, the original Father Mulcahey in the M*A*S*H movie!

I'd have to say either Armin Shimmerman as the Principal in Buffy or Patrick Stewart in X-Men.

It's a minor, minor, minor part, but I also liked Michael Dorn as the Psych in Castle.

And of course, there's Michael Westmore as himself in Faceoff.

William Shatner as The Big Giant Head on 3rd Rock From The Sun
Leonard Nimoy as William Bell on Fringe
Kate Mulgrew on Orange is The New Black (Actually the only time I ever liked her)
Nicole DeBoer on The Dead Zone
John Delancie really got to me in his appearance on Breaking Bad
& I've been meaning to get into Patrick Stewart's new show Blunt Talk. It looks pretty good

I can't believe I forgot them but how about Shatner's 2 "Twilight Zone" episodes.

No love for TJ Hooker?

If characters played by guest/recurring actors were eligible, I'd have named Paul Winfield in The Terminator, Dina Meyer in Birds of Prey, Famke Jansen in Goldeneye and X-Men, Susanna Thompson in Ghosts of the Mississippi, Olivia D'Abo in The Wonder Years and Tom Hardy in The Dark Knight Rises.

I use to watch TJ Hooker but I have forgotten everything I ever saw on it because it's been so long. I'm surprised nobody mentioned is role as lawyer on "The Practice" spin-off though I never watched the show myself. I did watch "Tek War" though with Greg Evigan and Shatner help create that show and even had a role in it.

From memory we do have another Star Trek actor albeit a guest actor who strred in T J Hooker, Richard Herd but I suppose many of us might better know him as John from V.

Wil Wheaton as himself on Big Bang Theory

Armin Shimerman as the caddy on Seinfeld

Walter Keonig as Bester on Babylon Five

George Takai as a daydream of himself on Big Bang Theory

Leonard Nimoy as the host of In Search Of

Kate Mulgrew in Remo Williams

Diane Muldaur on LA Law

I would like to add 2 more. I though Marina Sirtis did a good job playing a Russian scientist on "Stargate" and Patrick Stewart did a very good version of Scrooge on a "Christmas Carol" movie.

Working in advance a bit, but referring to the newly casted captain in Discovery, Jason Isaacs, I really liked him as Colonel Tavington in the Patriot and as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies.
