Favorite New Shows This Fall

I love Boardwalk Empire and Terriers. Great stuff.
These two plus Rubicon have provided some extremely compelling television. No Ordinary Family has been fun so far, and I'm very much looking forward to The Walking Dead premiering on Sunday.

Thread necro, I know. Sorry. I was looking for a thread about Raising Hope, and this was all I got. Didn't really want to start my own. I can't believe how funny I think this show is. I would never have thought Garrett Dillahunt would be so good at comedy. His stuff always makes me laugh the hardest. Well, him and Cloris Leachman. Seeing people say it's My Name Is Earl, Part II makes me almost wish I had watched that show too.

I saw one episode of Chase, could take it or leave it.
Kinda like that one. Enver Gjokaj guested this week as the fugitive. Wasn't a challenging role, but I was still fun to see Victor/Tony again. I like the lead character too.

While I didn't watch it or care to I hate it for those that did want to try Lone Star. Two eps in and cancelled.
I watched the pilot and decided it just wasn't for me. They tried so hard to make the bigamist liar who was the lead a sympathetic character, and I just couldn't take it.

Rubicon --very intelligent, slow and methodical, daring you to pick up the subtle clues.
I plan to watch this one on DVD eventually. Saw the pilot online on AMC's site and was intrigued. I wish AMC would put their stuff on Hulu, or at least their own site. I really don't want to bother with less legitimate methods for my entertainment consumption.

My Name is Earl is/was so much funnier than Raising Hope. I think you can get a Season 3 & 4 two pack at Target for like $15.
