I loved every scene with Brooks and Lofton. Their chemistry together as father and son felt incredibly authentic and loving, even when they weren't in agreement. Also, now that I think about it, Nog and Rom. You don't often see sci-fi portray single dads in any light. To have two such well written and developed family dynamics in one series was something special.
