So I was thinking about a the old captain argument, who’s ship you would want to be on (I usually say Picard but I’ve been watching a lot more DS9 lately, so I’m going with Sisko). I thought maybe we could take it a step further.

Who would be in your ideal bridge crew, if you could choose a person for each spot from ANY series?

Some of these roles were combined or eliminated (communications) and sometimes certain roles weren’t seated on the bridge or changed because of a mission’s needs, but it’s your crew so play around with it however you’d like.

Captain: Sisko
First Officer: Spock
Helmsman: Sulu
Ops: Data
Tactical/Security: Worf
Engineering: Trip
Ensign: Nog

After we form our crews, we need to run simulators to compete and see who perform missions more effectively. (i.e. less damage in battle, recruiting of more federation members in negotiations, less red-shirts killed in a mission etc. )

Hahahaha it would be interesting to see how the teams work together to keep their red shirt quotas up.

And I can’t believe how many people picked Kirk!! He’s so unpredictable and impulsive. Definitely charismatic though. He’s awesome in first contact scenarios.

This is a tough one that will require some thought. Definitely know I want Sulu at the helm, though. Demora Sulu.

The thread reminds me of the one I started a few years back about re-casting the TOS roles with any actors and actresses that you choose, from any era including before the year 1900. There were a lot of good stage actors.

I might start one up again for TOS, but someone could do one for TNG and the others as well. Movies, too.

Good point. I really can’t see anyone going head to head with Janeway and ending up on top. Especially not Chakotay.
