Fantastic Four reboot-- Casting, Rumors, Pix, ect;

Yeah, I guess. I was just laughing because first she was rumored for Avengers, then it was Star Wars and now it's this. I wasn't saying it was a bad thing, I was just commenting. I actually haven't seen her in anything yet, although I do plan on checking out Byzantium and The Host eventually.

‘Fantastic Four’: Actors and Actresses Lining Up for Roles

Sources tell Variety that Kit Harington, Jack O’Connell and Miles Teller are in line to get test offers to read for the role of Richards while Saoirse Ronan, Kate Mara and Margot Robbie are being tested for Storm. As of right now Michael B. Jordan is the only name being mentioned as a possibility to play Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, but that could still change.
I Googled those Reed Richards actors, and not a one of them looks over 25, that's awfully young isn't it? Isn't Reed supposed to be pushing 40? Or is the grey streak an effect of the change and it just made him look older?

The first thing I read skimming was "being tested for Storm" and I was thinking about X-Men for a sec. Of course, we already have Michael Jordan as the Torch so why not? :)

My dream cast for this - Michael B. Jordan for Johnny, Helen Mirren as Sue, Jonah Hill as Reed and Peter Dinklage as Ben Grimm.

According to JMS' run, Reed Richards created the Universe.

So he was 40ish during the ignition of the Big Bang.

Take that as you will.

In the original timeline, the origin took place in 1961 (or so-- it was a flashback, but it wasn't too long ago) and Reed served in Intelligence in World War II. Even taking into account that he was a prodigy, the latest he could have been born was 1925, so his minimum age would be 36. His demeanor was older than that, but that would not be unusual in those days for a professorial type.

Eh, I'm not feeling too good about this reboot. And I loved Chronicle. But I'm not enthused with the names being thrown around for the roles. I kind of wish the clock would run out and the rights revert back to Marvel like what happened with Daredevil.

Jonah Hill?!?!?!
I think he was going for sarcasm. Is Jonah Hill really that more outrageous than the other casting choices?
Actually with with forced perspective Dinklage could make a great Ben Grimm/Thing. But, yea, Helen Mirren, as awesome as she is, just isn't quite right for Sue

I would love if the film took place in the 1960s, but I guess that would be too much to hope. Plus, it probably wouldn't make much sense if they want to tie it to the X-Men films.
