I humbly submit a little comedy webseries called Red Shirts. We have two episodes online and a teaser trailer found here:

Our YouTube Channel is here (website pending):

The title about says it all, but we are not a direct parody of Star Trek but an universe much like it. The show focuses on 3 lowly crew members and their attempt to live, work and, yes, survive on board a starship.

The show stars Nick Armstrong (Parks & Rec), Shannon McKain (Transformers: Rescue Bots), Arnie Pantoja (Hamlet 2) with guest stars Deanna Russo (Being Human, Knight Rider), Meghan Falcone (The Jos Schmo Show, Californication) and more!

Hope you like it!

Ryan, I have not yet watched your films (I run Star Trek Reviewed, and I have many hundreds in the same boat... I not a big fan of comedy generally, it's not personal). I currently have you here: http://startrekreviewed.blogspot.com/2009/06/210.html under (P). My question is (I haven't time to watch this today)... does this story end with Part 2, or is there of Part 3 ... 4 etc. before you start another story? I give filmmakers a Headline at the top of my website when they complete a full story over 10 minutes long. They also get their own dedicated page. Please let me know!

Hey Barbreader,

The first two episodes are connected, then the first season opens up to more self-contained stories. We should have our third episode out in a couple weeks and it furthers the adventures of our three main characters. That probably means we don't quite make your 10 minute limit, but that's the truth!

Sorry you're not a big fan of comedy, but we hope to win you over anyway!

Thanks,

Ryan

The ten minutes can be a total for more than one film. I'll have to watch this and figure out if the second part has some kind of ending so I can give you a Headline and a dedicated page yet. The two parts are more than long enough for a Headline, and your total releases are enough for your own page, as long as there's a full story there. Sorry for not just getting it done. I'm under a lot of pressure this week with my own life.

All you Klingons in your grandma's house I made another TNG machinima episode. If you happen to remember the last one you'll probably also remember it was kind of silly, but this time I was really driven by something, I don't want to say "message" but I really felt those words once uttered by Rod Serling: "I could have aliens say things that Democrats and Republicans couldn't."

So check it out if you have time. It's called "Blinded", it's 25 minutes long and don't forget to switch on HD.

Starship Valiant
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Starship-Valiant/151123951763551?hc_location=timeline

Upcoming fan series taking place in the 23rd Century around the third/fourth season of the original Star Trek featuring the voyages of the Constitution-class Starship Valiant commanded by Captain Jackson K. Bishop. The first vignette is in the works as I type and the 2nd and 3rd episode have been written. Lots of info on our Face Book page so come check us out and give us your support.

I'd like to submit the UK based independent short film, "Star Trek: Ambush".

"Ambush" will introduce you to a new ship and crew that exist in the Star Trek Universe, The USS Ambush. Set just after the events portrayed in "Balance of Terror", the original series episode. By focusing on a single away mission to rescue a captured Commander, "Ambush" will shed some light on how the Federation ultimately dealt with the Romulans, after the initial incident involving Kirk and The Enterprise. As you'll discover in the film, the crew of the "Ambush" are a very unique and specialised group of people, who would always be the first choice to deal with a delicate matter such as the Romulans. Although the crew's existence is well known to the Federation, they're not keen on advertising their existence.

Please check out our Kickstarter that has been going well and keep checking the Facebook page for more info and updates.

Star Trek: Lost Universe

"The USS Jamestown, an experimental, Nebula Class vessel finds itself trapped in an alternate reality where the Romulan Star Empire has conquered nearly the entire Alpha Quadrant. Without allies and without a place to call home, the Jamestown begins a one-ship-rebellion against the Romulan Star Empire in an attempt to restore what was once a shining light in the Alpha Quadrant."

I am producing three films this year, one of which is my STAR TREK fan film, PHASERS, starring Trek legend DOUG DREXLER!!!!!!!

This film visits a day in the life of a Starfleet Science Officer exploring the surface of Cestus III, played by Trek visual effects legend Doug Drexler, who gets into a “whose phaser is better” contest with an old buddy, with disastrous - and hilarious – results!
