Falling In Love Over The Internet

^^ An interesting thought because although I haven't yet met my sweetheart face-to-face yet in all other regards I behave and feel like I'm in a relationship. I don't look at other women the same way as I did before. And I certainly don't contemplate trying to meet other women because of how I presently feel.

I honestly think that the opinions of the people in the relationship matter more than the opinions of others. If you believe that what you have is as valid as 'conventional' relationships, then that's all that matters.

The fact that you refer to her as your sweetheart speaks volumes to the romantic in me :adore:

I have a friend [he thinks he's my other kid] whose parents met online. From what I understand they met because both their birthdays were on Valentine's Day. Guess what day they got married? Yep, Valentine's Day. I've helped him pick out gifts for them... at least it is easy to remember the dates. At least one of them is miserable, but that is because she is a b*tch.

I met my soulmate online when he IM'd me about sports. It was much later that he told me he liked me and we started to date.

I guess Falling In Love Over The Internet can happen. Like any other way to meet, it is what you make of the relationship that is more important than how you meet.:techman:
