'Extreme Measures' - the last great DS9 episode?

Another reason for the DS9 and Defiant sets being used to represent Sloan's mind was that the Final Chapter used every set that DS9 had.

Extreme Measures sucked for me. It certainly was the weakest of the Section 31 episodes.

Sloan was presented as a master spy - especially in Inter Arma Einem Silent Leges. Bashir admits to Ross that the man completely pulled the wool over his eyes. Yet the master falls for something so freaking obvious? PLEASE! I could accept that the genetically-enhanced doctor might beat Sloan at his own game in an epic chess match between spies but NEVER in so simple a gambit as we see here. It cheapens Sloan and the whole Section 31 thing enormously.

Remember when O'Brien thought Bashir could beat the streaking Quark at Tongo? Remember how THAT turned out? I imagine the same result anytime Bashir battled it out with Sloan in a quick game of spy vs. spy.
