Cumberbatch showed more menace and presence in that TV Spot than Bana's Nero did for the entirety of his Razzie-worthy performance.

It would be rather ironic if they use this as an excuse to build a new ship that looked more like either the original or the TMP version.

Either way, it certainly appears that the ship takes quite a beating in this movie.

I don't think the ship design is ugly, but the interior is kinda bland compared to all it's predecessors. Somebody paint those fucking walls.

Scale in Trek has always be a little fubar *cough*Voyagershuttlebay*cough* So this is just another to toss on the list. Does add to my theory that Helmsman Troi is onboard the Enterprise

You do know this Enterprise is meant to be much bigger than the original? 725 meters long according to the Bluray, but possibly as large as 1200m (the Art of the Movie book)
