I am not surprised.
Imagine what TWOK figures will be like.
I HOPE that they aren't going to be limited like this run of TMP ones!
Whoof! That was fast. But yeah, as already mentioned, not surprising; even taking scarcity into account, it's a gorgeous figure. I might give in and join in the virtual elbow-throwing if we get Sulu in his Search For Spock/Voyage Home outfit.

This is true. However from what I've seen at Sideshow they're sold out as well. So is BBTS.
Scalpers are going to have a fat wallet after they sell these.
LOL, I got one just because I know that I can flog it for at least double the price I paid! In my defence, this will allow me to get some of the EXO-6 figures that I really want.
I think that most of us "here" do.
Hopefully that'll give Exo-6 a clue not to make them so limited.
Janeway as far as I know is still being sold. Seems they made plenty of that figure.

I think Exo-6 has insufficient capital to keep stock longer term for people who come late to the party. Janeway was one of their first figures so they may not have had a great idea of how quickly she would sell. Their strategy now seems to be a mixture of quick sales of niche characters in low numbers (to create a buzz and possibly even let scalpers fall over each other) and then larger pre-orders for characters with broader appeal so that they get a better idea of numbers. I would imagine TWoK (the big 3 at least) will be in much larger numbers. I think a TWoK (beardless) McCoy and a Saavik are on my want list.
I finally yielded.... I've ordered and received my first EXO figure, Tuvok.. I must say, I love it..! I think the charater likeness is perfect, and a lot better than any of the photos I've seen of this figure..! Of course, I keep it in the original packaging (I know, I am that crazy), but luckily, you can still see the figure pretty well when sliding off the outer cardboard.
Sooo.... who's your next purchase? *maniacal laugh*

I preordered him and am hoping he will be shipped soon. I'm thinking it'll be another month or so before they announce him shipping. I just HAD to order him to go with Janeway! But that'll be all for the moment as it's very pricey!
That is awesome! I know these things have been selling like hotcakes and are now very hard to come by!!
Yeah that's one of the biggest complaints. My friends have said: where's the medicine bundle? And one friend said she'd make her own. LOL!
My suggestion Q&A was having accessory packs that people could buy at leisure. I suppose you could have a separate pack for each series with a basic eqipment pack (phasers, tricorders, PADDs, communicators, medical nick naks) and a character pack with individual iterms for the characters from that series but I don't know how viable they would be. Presumably it might be better than creating a phaser for every figure for example.
