Exclusive "The End of Time part 2" clip (spoilers!)

Holy shit, I got as far as the establishing shot of the city on Gallifrey with that music before being blown away by the pure awesome of that.

The Timelords have their own version of Dalek Cann, a babbling, insane seer.

Still, that could be a flashback scene.

Yeah most likely a flashback

They talk of the doctor(the eighth!!!!) using the "moment" to destroy both Daleks and Timelords.

I really liked the crashed Dalek saucers that can be seen in the shot of Gallifrey. So, does this mean we get to see glimpses of the Time War?
I must say I always imagined that whatever the Doctor did to destroy both Daleks and Timelords was a sort of desperate measure, but in this clip it sounds much more like a planned act.

There was dialogue that said it was "the last day of the Time War", so yes, it was a flashback.

And the Prez is a crazy ass mofo. Think he may have died a few times too often.

So is the Time War Paul McGann's or Ecclestone's doing? I was under the impression it was the ninth...

The "moment" is something "Planned", like the Osterhagen Key?

With the way he acted it wouldn't surprise me if he just regenerated after a crashed Timelord ship, got up and went right to the counsel room in a pissed off mode.

Sort of like Weyoun in Deep Space Nine.

It sounded like that to me. The fact that the Timelords had time to discuss what the Doctor was planning kind of contradicts the notion I had of it being a desperate act the Doctor came up with to save the day at the last moment. Somehow, I can't imagine him deliberately setting out to commit genocide. Oh well, maybe I got it wrong, anyway. I hope the episode will provide us with more details and info.

Or he fell off one of those high gangways without railings on the way to the council chamber. ;)

In "Rose," Eccleston looks in a mirror and is surprised at his appearance. As far as I know, that's been the only indication, one way or another, of which Doctor ended the Time War.

and yet he had at least two adventures(one on the Titanic) before meeting Rose.

Maybe he was too busy running to notice?

Ofcourse once 9 starts looking for clothes he'd have to look in the mirror.

10 didn't look in a mirror till the end of "Christmas Invasion" Although he was still recuperating.

Argh, it doesn't make sense.

I've been under the impression, correct or not, that regeneration was a result of the Time War, something happened in which he was injured unto death, regenerated, and kept going.

... proof that James Bond is a Time Lord!!!

So I take it when this guy dies, he'll regenerate into Pierce Brosnan?

Darn right. And then, one day, Daniel Craig! And Then he'll be more unforgiving than Ever!

I figure it's the Time Lords doing (beginning with the episode Genesis Of The Daleks, according to RTD), while McGann was the Doctor who Ended it and wound up regenerating into Nine in the process or shortly afterwards.
