Production schedules can be slowed by illness (I had pneumonia for three weeks; Ricky's got the shingles and can't do a lot right now), school (all of our actors are either students or instructors at the local colleges), work (as the owner of my own business, there's time I have to devote to my business over the movie we're making), etc.

So when I say I'm working on A, B, C this week, and I only get A or B or maybe A and C done, well, I think it's an accomplishment in of itself.

I'm moving along pretty well -- if at a snail's pace. I think the script is about as polished as it can get -- several of the puppets are in production and the main set is about 50% constructed. The cast and crew are mostly in place.
