News Exclusive: Scott Bakula Eyeing Star Trek Return In President Archer Series Pitch From ‘Enterprise’ Producer

The show where a 3-year war lasted 10 years (11 if you count the original feature film).

How many Happy New Year episodes did they have?

Surprisingly, Christmas only came three times to the 4077th. I always thought it happened a fourth time, but I misremembered.

Unfortunately, even the dates cited don't line up, with Potter originally taking command in September of 1952.

I'm assuming that once production wraps on SNW season 5, those sets will be dismantled like the Titan sets were after PIC ended. That, or they will be refurbished for a show that takes place 900 years later....
Judging from the SFA promos they had done that for SFA S1. The SFA ship bridge is a redress of the SNW 1701 bridge set.

PICARD's situation was unique in that it was filmed in L.A. in a rented studio space. That isn't the case for SFA or SNW as CBS built and owns the Canda studio so yeah, it's more likely they'll redress and/or store rather than tear down and trash.

(They didn't ship the PICARD sets to store in Canada because it would cost just as much to rebuild/remake as it would to ship and store in the long run.)

*-Edited to fix a typo.

I'm assuming Picard "still has the sets" as well? :D

(That's Akiva Goldsman's tortured reasoning for doing Star Trek: Year One ):

If the SFA bridge is a redress of the SNW 1701 bridge, then the 1701 bridge wouldn't be available for Star Trek: Year One.
It isn't a redress. What we've seen in the photos so far looks nothing like the infrastructure of SNW's set, and it would also be problematic for the shooting schedule for both shows since SFA has filmed their first two seasons simultaneously with SNW's last two seasons.
