Everyone on the bridge at the same time?

It there a time when the show no one on the bridge for an extended period of time, not just briefly before someone enters?

I know there is one episode where the bridge is not shown at all.

Which one? Because I had always heard that Family was the first episode in Star Trek's history not to feature any bridge shots.

Sean "Christopher Pike" Kenney used to autograph a shot from (I think) Arena that him as DePaul as well as pretty much everyone. I think it included Chapel but I'd have to look. He said if you squint it looked like Captain Pike on the bridge with Kirk's crew. :)

I'm guessing your referring to a shot from either This Side of Paradise or The Mark of Gideon. Possibly Relics.

All Our Yesterdays is the one that never features the bridge, but it obviously doesn't feature a shot of the bridge with noone in it.

hey guys I have a funny joke to tell you (I didn't make it up my broher did). what did captin Kirk say to Spock when spock asked if he wanted a hamburgr?:rommie:

I thought maybe "The Trouble With Tribbles" at the very end, the whole humorous bit where Kirk is asking Scotty what happened to the tribbles. But apparently Sulu wasn't in that episode. Oh well.

Definitely "Mark of Gideon". But it's an Enterprise bridge mock-up, so some may contest that in context. ;) But if talking about "the set of the bridge", it qualifies. "This Side Of Paradise" has a long shot with just Kirk on the bridge, but I think the only point where the bridge is vacant is the brief moment before he exits the turbolift.

Which episode does not show the bridge at all? I thought it might be "Wolf In The Fold", but there's a short scene with Spock in the command chair.

Look three posts up. :)

"All Our Yesterdays" has no scenes aboard the Enterprise.

^ Ah, thanks Myko. I skimmed too fast. ;) You're right, the first shot of the crew is Kirk and Spock beaming down, and the last is in the library. No traditional bridge scene for the closing shots. Scotty's voice over is used with no shots of him on the bridge. Funny... there were some good ones of him in a couple of previous episodes. They could've easily used older footage of him sitting at the con for a few seconds, looking at the screen.
