It was OK I guess... Passable fun but I'm so over Daleks. I was hoping we'd get a new baddie. At least they mentioned the flux so there's that I guess. Aisling Bea was fantastic. I've seen her before in stuff and she knocked it out of the park. Can't wait for the Doc Yaz pash.... It must happen.

5/10 not quite a steaming pile of poo but kind of fun

Late to the game I know...

Did anybody half-expect Nick at the end to say something along the lines of "I didn't put the fireworks/chemicals/baked beans" in the storage locker... thus creating a new mini-mystery?

Glad that Dan mentioned Groundhog Day - pretty much every time loop story now need to mention the film.

Meh, should have mentioned Cause and Effect, which predated Groudhog Day.

So is it safe to assume at this point that the damage from the Flux has not been undone and most of the universe is just gone?

Well it was set at night so I guess the destruction of the Sun isn't neccersarilly a problem (assuming the flux occurred earlier in the day), and I think it was cloudy - we certainly didn't see the moon (which is also gone). It was set in Manchester so I wouldn't expect to have seen Tidal problems in a few hours.

I'm a bit leery that a bunch of fireworks and chemicals would create a bomb capable of damaging Dalekanium, but mayhap the sonic had a new function added that actually CAN "triplicate the flammability" of things since that embarrassing moment with the Slitheen at Number 10?

We wouldn't see the Moon on 31st Dec 2021 as it's only now beginning to show a side.

Finally got around to watching this episode. I actually enjoyed this one, all the way though.

Why couldn't they all be this good? I really liked the guest actors, the humor, the relationships between the characters-- all of it. It was a fun episode.

I envy you, I've been trying to forget the moon egg for years.

I'm not sure I'd be saying this if I'd seen them in a different order, but to me this feels like Chris Chibnall's best episode. We got a proactive Doctor, fun guest stars, funny lines, a focused story line, it doesn't try to retcon the Doctor's past, and it moves fast enough that I barely wondered about things like how they knew the loop ended at midnight. I feel like we finally got to the firework factory here, even though it was more of a firework storage unit.

I agree. This is what I was waiting for all throughout that Flux nonsense--an actual episode of Doctor Who that was fun to watch.

I enjoyed this one, so nice to leave all that convoluted bollocks behind and have a run-and-quip time loop story with actually scary daleks for once, some good guest stars and the Doctor leading the action. Not exactly one to challenge the mind but it was fun.

I was expecting a new TARDIS console when they went back in, ready for 14.

The companion in love with the doctor, again? Just stop it.
