Eurovision 2009

^ :guffaw:

Well, for me, that would be the Ukrainian entry... but she's so young compared to me, it'd be 'dirty old man' time!

Ukrainian... Loboda is 27 years old, as I know... quite a show, didn't fell with the "anti-crisis girl" song, by how much they paid for it...
Bilan is a puppet anyway
My company sponsored Turkish entry, so I guess we will be singing Tek Tek at the work for a while
And hosts shouted?
Well, good for Norway, we liked Rybak too :techman:

The music was all terible as usual but the show was made entertaining by Graham Norton's put downs and general slagging off of judges and contestants alike.
Shame the hosts had to spoil it by beating up those gay rights protesters and killing hundreds of stray dogs.

Probably they made a mistake by only allowing people vote for half the votes and having "experts" to give half, thus making it possible peoples' favorites will no longer be crowned and that duller shows with better singers will win. It is a tv show after all. Much less to watch in the following years unless they change back to letting people decide.

And hosts shouted?
More so in the semifinals. The final onstage hosts were a bit annoying but not as annoying as the other ones.

SummerDream, that's not an unfair point, but it seemed to be the only way to break the deathlock of block voting. We have to hope the judges are deeply interested in music and know what they're voting for.
