Eureka (S3): "Your Face or Mine"

i just didnt buy no one else but zane not seeing the truth.
there has to be a lot of stuff jo knew that wasnt part of the public record.

Ditto

I was also annoyed by the old standby of "the hot girl wears glasses and therefore is inexplicably under the impression that she's not attractive." Seriously, who are these people kidding...?

This did not surprise me. One of the running gags for the show is that for a town full of smart people they can all be really stupid (especially when the script calls for it).

The other big running gag is Carter. He usually comes off as rather stupid, but will occasionally pull a genius idea out of his backside.

Hey does anyonw know why Carter was given a bunch of straws he didn't really do anything with them all he needed were the cards and the panic button.

To throw him off, and it worked for a time. What I didn't get is some times the straws were rigid and other times they were limp. Perhaps some sort of nano-polymer...

What I want to know is what happened when the lights went off. OBviously pressing that button lead to more crap.

Anyway, thoughts:

Plothols and ridiculous idea aside, neither trumpted the episode really. It was another semi fun romp in Eureka. We got mroe expansion of Joe and got to see a new side of her. Is it me, or is she way, way more softer than she was in season 1?

The Carter sideplot was fun and I wish we had seen more of that.

Scale of 1 to 10, for an episode of "Eureka": 8

Compared to better sciece fiction shows: 5

She didn't seem softer to me. I think you're remembering the other Jo at those times. Jo was short with her boyfriend, stern with Zoe, and coldly making decisions for other people's DNA.
