Eric Woolfson (of Alan Parsons Project) Dies

I realize this is a month old but I thought I would share this. Eric Woolfson (one of the members of the Alan Parsons Project - he was the primary lyricist, and often played keyboards and sang) died of kidney cancer. Link

I grew up listening to the Project's music. They will always be one of my favorite bands. And Eric was also one of the best vocalists who appeared with them.

RIP Eric.

Oddly enough, right before I logged on to TBBS, I was humming the song "Call Up", from the Alan Parson's Project's album "Time Machine".

I know, I was just mentioning that I was humming something Parsons related right before I read the news. (Even when it's only Alan, I still call it APP, just something I do).

Oops. Never mind. Eric didn't sing "Old and Wise", Colin Blunstone did.

(Although on the special edition release of the Eye in the Sky album, there's a version of the song with Eric's original "guide" vocal)
