Episodes you refuse to watch

Precious Cargo, Civilization, Desert Crossing, Dawn, Daedalus and TATV are always skippers for me.

I think Civilisation is okay. Interesting to compare our heroes' approach to alien societies with the bad guys'.

If I do another rewatch, I'll definitely skip those and Fusion.

If you skip Fusion, you should also skip the season 2 follow-up episode Stigma.

There's a good chunk of episodes that I just plain haven't seen and don't intend to.

But why dismiss all of season 1? Breaking The Ice and Shuttlepod One are generally held to be among the best of the series.

I dunno, I find them boring I guess?When I rewatch a show I usually just start with the episodes I want to watch and go from there, I never usually rewatch from the start of the series, (although I have done that with The West Wing). With Enterprise I watched all Season 1, because since I'd bought it on dvd I felt compelled to watch it, and stopped watching until Season 3, and I just can't be bothered to check out episodes in Season 2 other than the ones I've already seen. I'm not here to talk shit on Enterprise, I know people love it and that's great. I don't mind some of it but that's the way I feel about every single Trek series.

Not all, as I said there's a whole bunch I've never seen. I think there might be a couple on the Season 1 DVD i skipped and I never bought the second season but watched a few episodes later on, minefield, dead stop, future tense, regeneration and the expanse. I watched all of season 3 and most of 4. I've never seen The Aenar, Daedalus, the entire augment arc or bound.

You skipped The Aenar - the concluding ep of the Andorian trilogy? Did you not like the arc, or were you just not watching seriously at the time? I think it's the best ep of that arc.

I wish Teacake was still here - he had the right sense of humour to appreciate how awesome A Night In Sickbay is.

Very special, and a rare one if he likes TATV but since it is heavily centered on his favorite character- Riker- I can see how the episode is special to him. He's probably looking at it from a perspective most of us aren't. And I can respect that. With Reed being MY favorite character, I'm sure I'm more generous with my praise of any episode he is featured in.

I lost my "special flower" when I was 15 Standard Years. Riker's my favourite STAR TREK character, that's true, but even if "These Are the Voyages" did not feature him, the episode itself is trying to be entertaining. The MACO fight, for instance, was pulse-pounding excitement. Jolene Blalock is finally allowed to wear a wig and makeup that flatters her natural (and/or surgically altered) beauty. The FX and guest stars are Top Shelf ... But at the end of the day, yes, it IS a Riker show. And Jonathan Frakes has even tried to mitigate ENT fan-hatred for TATV with his usual wit and aplomb, but its fans remain few ... divided ... scattered.

Saying of which ...

It sounds as though teacake has ... expired? Is that what you're saying, eyeresist? That's almost as surprising as your saying she was a "he!" We were oil & water, unfortunately ... that's how our exchanges usually went. But I never wished anything bad on her.

In fact, teacake is alive and well, but sticking mostly to The Neutral Zone, which is a horrible place I hope never to visit again.

I don't refuse to watch any of the episodes, but a goodly percentage of them do suck. After STAR TREK having been on for decades, even by ENT's time, it's sort of surprising how something like that can even happen. Many of the scripts needed spice to them, regardless ...
