Well, I've never expected many people to agree with me on this particular episode. And I spent too much time arguing about it when I was active here 10 years ago and don't plan on doing it again. Thus having a link to this review is handy.Well, i read it but I mostly disagree with it, about the conclusions that is.

I do think that on the series as a whole the writers put Archer on a pedestal too much, but I'm not going to knock this episode for it. This also is a huge character episode for T'Pol. She would not abandon someone that sacrificed themselves for her. Too bad the crew won't remember this. They would follow her to hell and back. This episode also pleases the A/T'ers.Yes, I like it because it shows us exactly what would happen if the Xindi get their weapon to Earth.
"Show, don't tell", that's exactly what this episode does. Instead of being told what the Xindi can do, we're shown it.

Yes sirA/T'ers... You mean people who'd want to see Archer and T'Pol get together?
To be honest, it made me feel uncomfortable too. It's so stupid, It makes you feel ashamed of watching it.

I never understood the desire to pair Captain Archer with T'Pol. Weren't the ratings bad enough? Had they committed to going that route, Enterprise's ratings would've headed due South ... like a duck in Winter!
