Episodes you refuse to watch...

I don't particularly care for The Naked Now, primarily because it's a rehash of a TOS episode. It also was the second episode of the series, and for those who watched the series as it aired, people weren't familiar with the characters. And now you're seeing them act in strange ways. I feel like if Roddenberry really wanted to do this episode, he should have waited until later, so the characters could be a little more developed.

I also hate Pulaski, and any episode that features too much of her make me sick. I never skip episodes though.

For me the "unwatchable" episodes are as follows:
Code of Honor
Justice
Pen Pals
Shades of Grey
Imaginary Friend
The Masterpiece Society
Rascals
Sub Rosa

I'm sure there are some I forgot to add but I suppose I have never before been concerned with listing my least favorite eps.

The Dark Page. A bunch of whining, bawling and Troi family backstory that's never mentioned again because it's so irrelevant. Booo.

The only episode I may be inclined to skip is Shades of Grey, only because it does not feel like a real episode. If it had been about his memories from childhood, the academy, and so on, it may have been interesting. But for some reason all of his thoughts were limited to the last two years. I know it is because of the writer's strike, but that knowledge does not improve the quality.

I do not understand the venom over Sub Rosa. I always loved that episode. It feels like a ghost story to me.

I'll watch any episode but Genesis is one I don't look forward to. I don't like the horror aspects of it.

We all here like or love TNG but I think everyone has to admit, there are some episodes that are just bad, so bad that there's no reason to watch them again, maybe ever.

Is there something you just can't stand?

Just about every episode where Wesley saves the day. An exception to this might be "The Game" but it's still pretty stupid in premise that Wesley Crusher is somehow the only person inquisitive towards this strange device. I think it would be fine if Wesley were around to save the day occasionally, but the first season it's constantly happening and I have no idea what the producers could have possibly been thinking undermining their adult crew like that. Unfortunately all the episodes where he does save the day it seems very very contrived instead of being some sort of natural thing.

One good episode with Wesley saving the day is probably when he accidentally puts his mom in a warp bubble duplicate of the universe.

I can't think of episodes I simply won't watch but I've probably only seen each TNG episode twice or so (that's still a lot I think - once when I was a kid and then rewatched the series as an adult on Netflix).

I don't like Holodeck episodes (where something inevitably goes wrong on the holodeck and everything becomes dangerous) on TNG or VOY so I usually skip them. There might be a few that are ok - but I don't remember them. The Hirogen Nazi episode is probably an example of the worst holodeck episode ever made. I actually liked that one Captain Proton episode in VOY where photonic aliens make first contact with the holodeck characters.

Many of you have hit the nail on the head:

Suspicions
Aquiel
Sub Rosa
Dark Page
Genesis
Imaginary Friend
The Descent 1 and 2
Hero Worship

My god, some of those later episodes were such crap.

There's nothing I'll refuse to watch per say. There's episodes I'll skip over and some episodes listed I haven't watched this side of the millennium.

The Okona episode.
The indecent Descent two parter.
The one where JLP gets his heart to heart transplant after an even worse heart to heart with Wesley.
That slimey Scottish episode.
That first season Troi wedding episode

Any episode featuring Wesley (except for ones where he is actually useful, without CAUSING the problem to begin with) good episodes are Coming Of Age, When The Bough Breaks, and Final Mission.

Any episode with Pulaski (except perhaps The Icarus Factor and Shades Of Grey) a wonderful actress and character(s) from TOS, now the actress has aged severely and her character became a slap in the face to both Data and Dr. McCoy.

Picard, when he is obsessing about The Prime Directive.

Any Appearance Of Spot!

Specific episodes
Justice
would have been a wonderful episode. Very suspenseful, music not bad, scary alien space ship, great speech by Picard, but the whole mess was caused by Wesley, and the HUGE plot hole of making contact with a pre-warp species (that looks exactly like humans).

Angel One
This is a scary episode.

The Arsenal Of Freedom
Low-Ranking Bully takes over Engineering and then attempts to take over the ship. Yet no court martial?

Symbiosis
"I don't belong here, sir. I'm supposed to be dead!"

The Measure Of A Man
It's just a very painful episode.

The Outrageous Okona
Sometimes I will watch. Sometimes I will not. Some Random Guy (who looks like a human) is a Baby Daddy. He is a Thief. He hides on The Enterprise. Small Potatoes lock "Lasers" on The Enterprise. Yawn.

That Pack Lead Episode

Who Watches The Watchers?

Longest unexplained gagging death ever.

The Most Toys

Cringe.

In Theory
Very weak episode. Data attempts a bizarre romance. Music is very bad.

Power Play
Very, very bad music.

Hero Worship
Extremely bad music.

Half A Life
Cost Of Living
Dark Page

Stop The Presses. L'Waxana has menopause / Alzheimer's / mid life crisis. She is crying. A lot. It was enough with Half A Life. Dark Page should have been completely rewritten. Cost of Living wasn't so depressing. However, she made a bad situation worse between Worf and Alexander. And that "juggling worlds" guy, the bubble sentry, and the "Spoiled Milk" mud bath. Also, Half A Life is one of those Prime Directive episodes.

A Matter of Time
However, I LOVE THE ENDING. Also, the ending has more suspenseful music. Welcome to the 24th century, Professor. You will make a very nice husband for Vash. Or at least business partner.

Tapestry
I refuse to believe that the only way for Picard to turn into the person he is, was to have his heart punctured.

Sub Rosa
A disappointing episode. It is just very extremely bad.

Journey's End
I'm glad everything worked out. Gul Evek is a very reasonable man. And so is The Traveler. However, Wesley is a pain. Somebody court martial him already. With all the issues he causes in previous episodes as well, he should have been kicked out years ago.

Disaster
Only the scenes involving Troi Vs. Ro are Disaster. Ro is a great actress but with little interest in Star Trek. Troi (Sirtis) is a talented actress who is almost never given the chance. (and is weak in this episode) Pitting them against each other should have never been done.

The First Duty
I never watch this one. Very bureaucratic. Wesley AGAIN is involved in chaos. And they have 20th century doors in this episode.

Gambit
Birthright

If I remember correctly, Gambit is an episode involving a "Khan With A Bad Hair Day". Would much rather have seen that Professor guy from A Matter Of Time. Birthright is the episode where a village of Klingons and Romulans live peacefully? I just don't think they should have been stretched out to two part episodes. And if Ron Jones can't do the music, then stop making two part episodes. Time's Arrow is an exception. But there are too many two part episodes. If they wanted to make so many two part episodes, then at least include L'Waxana, Barclay, or somebody.

I can't seem to remember any other Skip episodes at the moment.
Sometimes I can't watch the horror-themed episodes. I don't hate them, but I really can't watch those Zombies in the episode "Schisms". They are even uglier than the "Conspiracy" aliens.

I'm too lazy to check, but has someone mentioned Planet of the Black People from season 1? I don't even remember the title. It's the most racist one - yeah, that one. The episode that's even more ridiculous than Planet of the Jogging White People? That should ring a bell.

Man, that episode made my brain collapse in on itself. Crikey.

I will watch any episode, but unless enough time has passed, I usually skip:

Code of Honor
Justice
Haven
Angel One
When the Bough Breaks
The Outrageous Okona
Up the Long Ladder
Shades of Gray
The Survivors
The Price (well, the romance parts)
The Masterpiece Society
Imaginary Friend
Aquiel
Interface
Dark Page
Homeward
Sub Rosa
Eye of the Beholder (Marina Sirtis squeaking in frustration defines the word "Grating" to me)
Emergence

I never hated most of the Lwaxana episodes, though she's less amusing to me now. Menagé á Troi has too fun an ending for me and I for one love the handling of Wesley's promotion.

Just two:

Cost Of Living
Masks

I believe I watched each of those once - on original run. I've owned them on both DVD and now Blu-ray, but have skipped them on every run-through of episodes.

There remains only one episode of a STAR TREK that I've *never* seen, "Profit and Lace" of DS9. I missed it on original run and have no desire to sit through it on DVD (based on reputation and story description).
