Episodes with Identical Plots

Didn't Enterprise have a similar episode to DS9's Shadowplay? I forgot what it was, or even if I have the right series. I know there was an episode that was Basically Shadowplay rewritten.

Inner Light and Hard Time (I think that’s the name) utilize the same concept of experiencing years in a few moments. Inner Light and subsequent episodes didn’t really explore the effects of that where Hard Time does, at least until the end of the ep. Don’t know that it was ever referenced again.

VOY "Caretaker", "Night", "Endgame": The ship is in a remote part of space, there's a portal or technology that can let them get closer to home, but they might have to destroy the portal or technology to keep bad guys from doing bad things, which would leave them stranded a long way from home.

I always say it was one of TNG's biggest faults that it never explored what Inner Light must have done to Jean-Luc on a psychological level. I know, episodic show, blah blah, but they managed to explore his Borg trauma to a certain extent as well, so why not this trauma, too.

"OASIS", season 1. Guest starred Rene Auberjonois... funny coincidence, considering "SHADOWPLAY" had Odo in the co-center for the A plot.

Another funny coincidence... the actress who played Kamen/Picard's wife was the Argrathi woman at the beginning who talked about the mental prison.

lots of good ones people have brought up! And yeah, fireproof, I’m just ending up watching it all (well, except for Alternative Factor, Omega Glory & And the Children Shall Lead. Those I can’t rewatch anymore lol.)

See also "This Side of Paradise," back on TOS.
The Enterprise arrives at an idyllic settlement that has been strangely stagnant in its development, where people act like they're under the influence of a drug. During their investigation Sulu and other officers are brainwashed into turning against the crew and joining the community. Soon it's up to Kirk and Spock alone to save the day with some deceptive behaviour and clever computer manipulation. (This Side of Paradise, The Return of the Archons.)

The Enterprise discovers that a human colony has been taken over by an alien life forms that invade the body and affect behaviour, with Spock being one of its victims. The crew believe they've found the one thing that can restore people to normal but they have to test their theory on Spock. (This Side of Paradise, Operation -- Annihilate!)

Maybe deep down, every episode is This Side of Paradise.
