Episode titles shared by multiple franchises

This is only tangentially relevant, but the game Marathon by Bungie has a level called If I Had A Rocket Launcher, I'd Make Somebody Pay.
That's an actual song lyric by Canadian singer/songwriter Bruce Cockburn.

The song itself. One of my favourites, too.

Not really an episode title, but BSG had a line which was used for a soundtrack title, "The Shape of Things to Come". That was later used for an episode title on Lost.

SG1 and Smallville had an Exodus.

SG1, TNG, Blake's 7 and Hercules had a Redemption.

Smallville and SG1 also had Nemesis, Tomb and Reckoning.

DS9 and The X-Files had a Little Green Men.

The X-Files and SG1 had a Momento Mori.

The Prisoner and ST:TNG had 'The Schizoid Man'

Twilight Zone, Babylon 5 and the new Outer Limits had 'The Quality Of Mercy'

Years later, the game Halo (also by Bungie) contained a level called If I Had A Superweapon....

both games had the same rocket launcher, too btw

I remember a couple of months ago when all my Whovian friends were chattering excitedly about watching "Journey's End," and all I could think was, "Why is everyone getting so worked up about Wesley's Crusher's final TNG appearance?"

"What Kind of Day Has it Been?"

Sports Night, The West Wing, and Studio 60, all written by Aaron Sorkin.
 he wrote all three? Well, I guess if you really like something you tend to use it more.
It's even more interesting when you see that they're all the first (or only, in S60's case :() season finales of those shows.

When S60's was rolling around, everyone expected Sorkin to use that at the episode title... :)

There's a list in one of SFX magazine's trivia collections of reused titles - I'll see if I can dig it out at the weekend...

"A Piece of the Action", in addition to being a Star Trek TOS episode, was also an episode title for the following series: Batman, The F.B.I., The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, and Robot Chicken. Also, the original half-hour version of Naked City had an episode titled "A Little Piece of the Action".

Another TOS title "Metamorphosis", was also used by Smallville, Justice League Unlimited, Stargate SG-1, Mork and Mindy, Transformers: Armada, The Incredible Hulk, Family Law, and The Defenders.

Heck, even a title as seemingly unique as "The Immunity Syndrome" was used again on Space:1999.

The Shape of Things to Come is also the title of two Sci-Fi movies. 1936 "Things to Come and the 1979 remake (?) Shape of Things to Come

(Also the title of an episode of Newhart and The OC)

For some time though, in tribute to The Twilight Zone, I had a hope that BSG would do an episode called "Number Twelve Looks Just Like You." No such luck, sadly.

There's a whole lot more, but I'm done now.

In the course of this discussion, I find it most fascinating when an episode title spans across shows of different genres.

I resisted posting a few of those...for instance, both Sarah Connor Chronicles and Deadwood have an episode called "Complications".
