For me one; the worst episode. I rated it a 1 but would have gone lower if possible!

Yikes! Yeesh! Yuck! Lines like these plant this one in my bottom five, and that it's not the very bottom is just a reflection of how bad some of the other third season episodes are. Even the worst of the first and second season episodes ("The Alternative Factor," "Return To Tomorrow") never dug this low. This one hurts like a blunt object to the kidneys.

I gave it a two, just because one is such a lonely number.

That poster is a real hoot!!!! The info there makes me wonder though if the director might not have been Noam Chomsky, pushing his widespread acclaim at the time into an opportunity to try his hand in a totally different endeavor. Closet Trek fan maybe?

A dull, stupid episode with nothing to redeem it. At least Spock's Brain you can laugh at (even if you're not supposed to).

Yep. The only frame of mind for me to enjoy this episode would be MST3K-style, where you make sarcastic remarks and mock the show. I rate it a one, and worst of the series.

I think Freiberger thought it was a good idea and would bring publicity to the production; sort of stunt casting.

One truly fantastic piece of this episode was the elderly make-up they did on Nichelle Nichols, I think we all can see the artistry there.
